TS 226 consists of 72 typescript leaves. The first is a half-leaf measuring 147 x 210 mm, the remaining ones measuring 253 x 204 mm. It has been typed on the recto side of the leaf only and annotated by Wittgenstein in pen using black and blue ink and in pencil. The first page is unfoliated, the remaining part of the typescript is foliated ff. 1-65 and 67-67, though not by Wittgenstein.
