MS 116 is a casebound volume measuring 294 x 244 mm, bound in light brown coarse fabric. On the front pastedown there is a small bookseller’s label reading ‘Ed. B Giertsen, Bokhandel, Bergen’. Internally, there are flyleaves front and rear with grey marbled endpapers and 288 leaves measuring 284 x 225 mm, ruled with 28 lines. p. 347 has the first page of a letter to ‘Kari’ dated 2 Augustu 1945 affixed to it, which has been annotated by G H Von Wright ‘found in side this volume’. The text is in German and written in blue/black ink with some annotations in pencil and red ink. Folios 175 onwards are blank. The volume has been paginated pp. 1-347 by Wittgenstein.
