MS 126 is a softback pocket notebook measuring 182 x 119 mm from the ‘Kenbury Series’. Wittgenstein has included dates between 20 October 1942 and 6 January 1943 in the text. The binding is dark red buckram. Internally there are flyleaves at each and 80 leaves each ruled with 22 lines. The volume is neither paginated nor foliated. The text is in German with some coded remarks, written in pen using blue and blue/black inks.

This volume was known to von Wright when he produced his catalogue, but its location was unknown. It was brought ‘from Oxford’ to Trinity College Library by Peter Geach in the 1990s.
