MS 129 is a hardback minute book measuring 252 x 206 mm. Wittgenstein has included the date 17 August 1944 in the text. The binding consists of green buckram over card with a green leather spine tooled with the words ‘Minute Book’. Internally there are two flyleaves with grey endpapers, printed with an abstract pattern at front and rear, 12 index pages at the front, and 100 leaves measuring 240 x 189. Each page is ruled with 24 lines with a vertical line 35 mm from the left margin to accommodate numbering of minutes. Index pages are marked ‘A B’, ‘C D’, ‘E F’ etc, later pages are paginated pp.1-202 by the manufacturer using a rubber stamp. The entire volume is foliated ff. 1-15, 15b, 16-115. The text is in German, written with pen in blue/black ink with a small amount of pencil.
