TS 233a is a bound volume containing cuttings of various sizes that have been pasted in. The binding consists of light brown ‘sundour’ fabric on board measuring 278 x 216 mm and has a label by the trustees on the front cover. Internally there are 36 leaves, each measuring 270 x 207 mm and a flyleaf front and rear. Each leaf has three blue vertical double lines dividing the page into four columns. The volume is paginated pp. 1-72 by the binder using a stamp.

Most of the cuttings are typescript, but some are in manuscript. Some typescript pages are also annotated by Wittgenstein and by Peter Geach. Blue, black and blue/black inks have also been used. The text is in German.
