MS 110 is a casebound volume measuring 375 x 240 mm. Wittgenstein has included dates between 10 December 1930 and 6 July 1931 in the text. The binding consists of bottle-green fabric over board with burgundy leather strengthening to the head and foot of the spine, the fabric of the current binding being probably laid over the original. The staples of the original binding have been replaced by sewing, leaving behind a rusty residue. The origin of the volume is indicated by label on the front pastedown reading ‘FR. STRELEZ. I. WOLLZEILE Nr. 17. GESCHÄFTSBÜCHER, BÜRO-ARTIKEL. WIEN.’ Internally, there are 150 leaves measuring 366 x 223 mm. with a flyleaf and brown and cream endpapers at each end. Pages are ruled with 39 lines on each page and paginated 1-300, probably not by Wittgenstein. The text is in German with some coded remarks, written using pencil.

This volume remained in Wittgenstein’s family until May 1970 when it was presented to Trinity College Library, by Wittgenstein’s niece, Clara Sjogren.
