The text is written in German with substantial coded remarks, written using black, blue/black and red inks. It is foliated ff. 1-147 including the rear pastedown, probably by library staff. Ff. 112 to the end have some ink staining on the bottom without affecting the text. There is also some dog-earing.

The bookseller’s label on the front cover reads ‘Ed. B. Giertsen A/S - Bok- & Papirhandel, Smaastrandgaten - Bergen.’ And another booksellers label of the same provenance on the inside front cover.
