MS 135 is a casebound volume measuring 254 x 207 mm, probably designed as a minute book. Wittgenstein has included dates between 12 July and 18 December 1947 in the text. The binding is dark green buckram, quarter bound with green leather. A large label reading ‘Manuscript Volume July-December 1947. Oxford’ and ‘RED 1-10 II’ has been affixed to the front cover. Internally, there are red marbled endpapers and flyleaves front and rear, with 96 leaves measuring 244 x 191 mm, ruled with 25 lines per page, each page having a vertical line ruled 34 mm from the left of the page. The volume is foliated ff. 1-97. The text is in German with a few coded remarks, written with a pen using turquoise ink and pencil.
