MS 176 is a semi-softback notebook measuring 205 x 166 mm, marked ‘Notebook No 6’. Wittgenstein has included dates between 21 March and 24 April 1951 in the text. The binding consist of black fabric on card. Internally, there are flyleaves at the front and rear and 80 leaves, each ruled with 20 lines, foliated 1-80, 81 (on ff. 80v.). The text is in German and written in pen using blue ink.
