MS 177 is a notebook measuring 208 x 167 also marked ‘Notebook No 6’ [see also MS 176]. Wittgenstein has included dates between 25 and 27 April 1951 in the text. The binding consists of black fabric with a small label on the front bearing the reference ‘Sheet 5, 61’. Internally, there are flyleaves front and rear and 80 leaves, each ruled with 20 lines. The volumes is foliated ff. 1-80, though not by Wittgenstein; ff. 11v - 80 are unused.
