MS 179 is a West Riding County Council School soft back notebook measuring 202 x 164 mm. The binding consists of blue card with a label on the front cover. Internally there are 36 leaves measuring 202 x 157 mm, each ruled with 20 lines. It has been foliated ff. 1-36, but not by Wittgenstein. The text is in German and is written in pencil and pen using blue/black ink. This volume was passed by Rush Rhees to Trinity College Library on 25 Sep 1970.
