Editorial notes

1) Continuation from Ms-105,131.

2) The hypothesis behind the dating of Ms-106 (from ca. 20.03.1929 until ca. July 1929) is the following: (a) Wittgenstein spends the period from ca. 20.3.1929 until ca. 14.4.1929 in Vienna / Austria (see his letter to Hänsel of “nach 18.1.1929” and his letter to Schlick of 18.2.1929 (IEA 2013) as well as Monk 1991, p.265: “Gilbert Pattisson met Wittgenstein on the train coming back from Vienna after the Easter break of 1929 …”). (b) When travelling to Austria, he leaves the half full Ms-105 behind in Cambridge and continues his writing in the empty Ms-106. (c) Wittgenstein completes both Ms-106 (until July 1929?) and Ms-105 (until August 1929?) back in Cambridge before he begins writing in Ms-107 which contains its first dating on page 87 (11.9.1929).
