     You say that it's obvious to you that there's something the word pain means. But it doesn't satisfy you || you're not satisfied, for in the next moment you think || can imagine that it might be any

number of things corresponding to the word “pain”, & then again that there is not anything corresponding to the word “pain” but that what seemed to correspond to it was really part of the experience of saying it; etc..
     In other words the pictures vary & replace one another, whereas the language game however remains,

only it doesn't really seem to interest us. If it did we wouldn't philosophize.
